Even if you’re already married, you simply have to try the second honeymoon vacation. 2. Romantic Third Honeymoon

This is a bit more local and not as expensive, but if romance is the issue, then staying at a nice hotel for a few days with optional massage treatment and on-site spa and beauty treatment is just what the love doctor ordered.

Take the kids and the spouse to a family adventure, whether your pleasure is skiing, hiking, camping or swimming. Keep everyone active and focus more on the activities and the conversation rather than the commercial aspects of a theme park.

You’re not going to go overseas every year, but you owe it to the family to see at least one world-famous location before the kids grow up. Take your pick: Rome, Ireland, Barcelona, Egypt, London, and China.
